a bend in the road

Here, I write what matters to me -- what helps me catalog my very person. I write songs & poems, tributes to those I love, devotions to the one who first loved me, inspiration for those like me, and accounts of where life has taken me. I must caution: there are elements of shallowness and deepness depending upon my mood, some English major nerdy-ness, nonsensical declarations of a hopeless romantic, and open adoration for vintage style. Mostly, this is my way of remembering and treasuring, of making my world an array of sweetness that I can almost taste. I never want life's moments to get away from me, to run wild whilst I simply exist between them. So I write it all down.
